This listing is for a gau that is nearly "identical" to the piece pictured. It was hand crafted in Nepal using 92.5 sterling silver and beautiful lapis gemstone. This gau displays the timeless symbol of OM or Aum, the syllable known as the "breath of all life". Om has been venerated since ancient times by Buddhists, Brahmins, and Hindus alike. The universe is said to have begun with this sound, and all the sounds of life are said to be contained within it.
